Wits Smart Dining Hall

Step 1 - Login: Log into Wits SDH(Smart Dining Hall) using your student number and password, you will be redirected to the home page after a successful sign in.

Step 2 - Home Page: If you have already signed up for a meal, you have the option to cancel the sign up, given it hasn't been approved yet. You also have the option to calculate the meal cost if your sign up has been approved. If you have not signed up for a meal, skip to Step 5.

Step 3 - Calculate Meal Cost (Approved Sign Up): If you have already signed up for a meal and it has been approved, you can calculate your meal cost. Upon selecting the option to calculate your meal cost, you have to select the appropriate meal plan and click 'proceed'.

Step 4 - Calculating Meal Cost (Approved Sign Up): Upon clicking on proceed, you will have to select the amount for your meal plan. It will then populate the input fields with the cost information for that given amount. There is also a secondary option to include cutlery.

Step 5 - Sign Up for Meals (Res Student): If you would like to sign up for meals, select the first option. Res students will be directed to a page to select their meal preference, meal plan and preferred lunch dining hall. After completing the form click on the 'Sign Up' button.

Step 6 - Sign Up for Meals (Non-Res Student): You have to first select a meal plan then click on 'Proceed' button. Upon proceeding, you will then have to upload any documents relating to proof of payment.

Step 7 - Sign Up for Meals (Non-Res Student): You then have to select an amount for your meal plan. The remaining fields will be populated with the cost information of your meal plan. There is also an option to include cutlery in the meal plan. After completing the form click on the 'Sign Up'. button.
